The 2019 ODI World Cup runners-up New Zealand kept their caravan rolling with their third consecutive win in the tournament. They first put up a disciplined bowling performance, led by Lockie Ferguson who scalped three wickets, to restrict Bangladesh to 245. The Kiwis then batted with caution and aggresison combined to romp home with eight wickets to spare. Daryl Mitchell scored a quickfire 67-ball 89 and captain Kane Williamson scored 78 before retiring hurt. Though they continue to head the points table after the victory, Williamson's injury status will be the primary concern right now for New Zealand. As for Bangladesh, who faced their second loss in three games, they need to go back to the drawing board and figure things out ahead of their next match against hosts India on October 19.
