It is learned that the couple were targeted by people who tied them up in their flat, Paris police sources told the French media.
Donnarumma and his partner later escaped the scene and seeked refuge in a nearby hotel.

Some unconfirmed reports on the news site Actu17 have said that the attackers stole jewellery, watches and luxury leather goods worth as much as €500,000 (£430,000) from the couple's home.
The footballer was lightly injured while his partner, model Alessia Elefante, was unharmed, sources told AFP.
