Rajasthan Royals, IPL 2024 Cricket Auction: Full List Of Players Retained And Released - Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, Ravichandran Ashwin

Backed by the brilliance of Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson, Rajastan Royals coasted through to the playoffs in the Indian Premier League two seasons ago; a year ago, however, they missed out on the top four marginally, finishing fifth after 14 rounds of games. Despite their slight fall, Rajasthan have opted to stick with most of their squad for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024 season. Among those released by the Royals, the one name that stands out is that of Englishman Joe Root. Root ruled himself out of the upcoming tournament, leading RR to follow suit. Royals have also let go of Jason Holder and Obed McCoy and will go into December 2023's mini auction with a purse of just 14.5 crores.
