It was a day to remember for the Khan brothers - Sarfaraz Khan and Musheer Khan - as both scored a ton each for India in their respective games. While the elder of the two, Sarfaraz, notched a sensational 161 against the England Lions for India A in their exhibition match in Ahmedabad, the younger, Musheer, scored 118 for the India Under-19 national cricket team against Ireland in the ongoing ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup in South Africa. (More Cricket News)

Picked in the India reserve squad for England's Tour of India 2024, Sarfaraz Khan came to bat at number four with the hosts chasing 152 in their first innings. In an innings that lasted 160 deliveries and stretched over several hours, Sarfaraz scored a mouth-watering 161, sparking plenty of debate in the online forums about his prospects with respect to the India senior Test side.

At the end of Day 2 of their Test match, meanwhile, India A led by 493 runs, thanks, in large quantities, to Sarfaraz's exceptional innings.

On the other side of the world, Sarfaraz's younger brother, Musheer, scored 118 for the India U-19 team in their group match against Ireland during the ICC U-19 Men's Cricket World Cup. Musheer came to bat in at number three after India had lost Adarsh Singh and went on to score a whopping 118 in 106 balls.

His heroics helped the young Indian side lodge a target of 302 for the chasing Irish, which they were attempting to surpass at the time of writing.
