Hosts Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by 103 runs via D/L method to clinch the three-match series 2-0 at Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, on Tuesday. Bangladesh's victory push was interrupted by rain more than once but these brief reprieves were not enough for young Sri Lanka. Lanka have lost their first bilateral series to the hosts. It was a batting master class by Mushfiqur Rahim (125 of 127 balls, 10x4) which helped hosts post 246 on board in 48.1 overs. Mahmudullah made 41, while Liton Das added 25 runs. Dushmantha Chameera (3/44) was the pick of the bowlers for Sri Lanka. Chasing, Sri Lanka kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Danushka Gunathilaka made 24, while Pathum Nissanka scored 20.
