Brett Lee Wonders If He's Seeing A 'Girl Sachin Tendulkar', Watch Viral Video Featuring India's Future Batting Star

Taanisha Sen, a six-year-old girl from Bengaluru, managed to impress Aussie great Brett Lee on the sidelines of ICC Women's T20 World Cup

Even as Indian eves get ready for their maiden Women's T20 World Cup final, a young girl named Taanisha Sen was busy winning the Internet and Brett Lee with her sublime batting skills.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday shared a video, featuring the six-year-old girl from Bengaluru and the Aussie great, to the amazement of cricket fans.

Impressed with Sen's skills, Lee said "I'm nervous, it's like I'm seeing Sachin Tendulkar as a girl when he was six. This is incredible."

"A six-year-old, holding her own against @BrettLee_58. @Neroli_Meadows introduces us to a star of the future, @Taanisha_Sen," the video was captioned by T20 World Cup's Twitter handle.

"I can't see a reason why she can't go on to represent her country," Lee said.

However, Taanisha's favourite cricketer is Smriti Mandhana, not Tendulkar.

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 final will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday 8 March, International Women’s Day.

India and Australia have qualified for the final after the semi-finals at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday evening.

India progressed as the top-ranked team in their group after their match against England was washed out. Host and defending champions Australia defeated South Africa by five runs in the other semi-final.
