Defending 149, Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave India a perfect start with three wickets in the powerplay. But the 64-run fourth-wicket stand between Temba Bavuma and Heinrich Klassen revived the South African ship. Although Bavuma was out for 35, Klassen ensured South Africa’s path towards victory with a fine 81 off 46 balls. India have to win the next three games to win the series.
