Australia (AUS) defeated Sri Lanka (SL) by seven wickets in the third and final T20 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Friday (November 1). After being asked to bat first, the tourists were restricted to 142/6 despite Kusal Perera's 45-ball 57. For Australia, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Kane Richardson took two wickets each. In reply, the home team rode on David Warner's unbeaten 57 to seal the deal with 14 balls remaining. The result meant Aaron Finch's side completed a 3-0 series sweep over Sri Lanka.
