India on Sunday (October 13) won the Pune Test against South Africa by an innings and 137 runs to seal the three-match series with a game to spare. Following on, South Africa were all out for 189 in the final session of Day 4. Opener Dean Elgar (48) was the top-scorer for the visitors, while Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets apiece. Earlier, India scored a mammoth 601/5d in their first innings, with Kohli smashing his seventh double-century. The hosts had won the opening game in Visakhapatnam by 203 runs.
