Defending champions Mumbai Indians are back at the top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 table after thrashing Kings XI Punjab by 48 runs in Abu Dhabi on Thursday. After losing the toss, MI suffered a bad start to their innings, losing two wickets inside the fourth over. But skipper Rohit Sharma hit a majestic 70 off 45, then Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya produced a flourishing finish to post 191/4. In reply, KXIP kept losing wickets even though Nicholas Pooran tried to hold the innings together. They were restricted to 143/8 with Jasprit Bumrah, Rahul Chahar and James Pattinson claiming a brace each.
