Normally an unflappable person, sports minister Kiren Rijiju quit the high-power meeting clearly unhappy with IOA chief Narinder Batra's response to a query whether the national sports federations were coordinating well with the national Olympic committee.
Reportedly, Rijiju wanted to know if the IOA was coordinating with the national federation since many athletes were either finding it difficult to travel and qualify for the Games or plan their training due to the COVID pandemic.
