The run-fest continued as Sri Lanka continued to dominate the second Test against Bangladesh in Pallekele. Hosts Sri Lanka managed to score 469/6 in 155.5 overs on a rain-marred Day 2. Dimuth Karunaratne (118) was followed by Lahiru Thirimanne making 140 and Oshada Fernando missing a century and getting out on 81. Sri Lanka wobbled a bit before Niroshan Dickwella and Ramesh Mendis closed the day batting on 64 and 22 runs, respectively.
