West Indies held on to a thrilling one-wicket win over Pakistan in the first Test at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica. Kemar Roach who took five wickets in the Test match scored vital 30 runs as West Indies lower order took the team to victory. Hosts West Indies needed 168 to win after Babar Azam (55) and contributions from lower order took Pakistan to 203 all out in second innings. Pakistan defending a small target did well to reduce West Indies to 3/16 before Jermaine Blackwood (55) and Roston Chase put Windies on a victory path. Hosts stumbled again but Kemar Roach scored unbeaten 30 and along with player of the match Jayden Seales guided the hosts to a close win.
