"There might be something in the pitch in the morning. Bit spicy, bit tacky," Volschenk, a batting all-rounder said at the toss. "Hopefully, we'll get it out in the first 10 overs and then in our innings it'll be better."
The African side, despite getting all out for 91 runs, produced a spirited performance against three-time champions Australia in their tournament opener. And they are fielding the same playing XI.
His Sri Lankan counterpart Sineth Jayawardena said they were also looking to field first. "It's quite difficult to bat on, looks the same as the last two matches," the offspinner added. "This surface early morning there's a bit of uneven bounce. It gets settled after that. One change."
While Namibia are unchanged from their previous game, Sri Lanka have brought in Supun Waduge in place of Vishen Halambage in their playing XI.
