The bitter aftertaste of India losing to Australia in the final of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 was replaced by the joy of the home team's young guns trumping the Aussies twice in a space of four days to go 2-0 up in their five-match T20I series. Indian Premier League franchises released their lists of released and retained players, and Hardik Pandya returned to the Mumbai Indians in a sensational swoop. Elsewhere, the Indian men's doubles pairing of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty ended a strong China Masters 2023 campaign with a narrow loss to local heroes Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang. The week ended with the heartening news of 25-year-old Bengaluru golfer Aditi Ashok winning the Spanish Open Championship.

Cricket
Australia's tour of India continues with the third T20I slated for Tuesday, November 28. The tour will see its conclusion this week as the fourth match will be played on Friday and the final one on Sunday, December 3. Australia will look to bounce back after the two loesses while India will seek to clinch the series in the third game itself.

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup South Africa saw a massive upset on Sunday as an unheralded Uganda beat continental heavyweights Zimbabwe. The action continues in the tournament with crucial games all through Monday to Thursday, November 30, which is when the two teams to play the T20 World Cup next year will be finalized.

In the Test circuit, Bangladesh will host New Zealand for a two-match series starting with the first five-day affair on Tuesday.

Football
In the Indian Super League 2023-24, FC Goa will have a chance to climb to the top of the table when they take on Jamshedpur FC at 8pm on Monday. Two other Indian football clubs Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Odisha FC will lock horns in the AFC Cup group stage at 7:30pm.

ISL clashes will continue through the week, with Chennaiyin FC taking on the Kerala Blasters on Wednesday, Bengaluru FC playing Punjab on Thursday, Jamshedpur facing Odisha on Friday, Hyderabad tussling with Mohun Bagan on Saturday and Goa meeting Kerala Blasters on Sunday.

The English Premier League 2023-24 will see action heating up on the weekend, as Newcastle take on Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur face Manchester City on Sunday. 

In the UEFA Champions League 2023-24, Spanish powerhouses Barcelona will meet top Portuguese club Porto early Wednesday morning. Italian titans AC Milan will meet German giants Borussia Dortmund and City will also lock horns with French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, while Spanish colossus Real Madrid will play Italian club Napoli on Thursday.  

The FIFA Under-17 World Cup is now on to the semi-final stage in Indonesia, where Argentina will face Germany and France will take on Mali on Tuesday. The losers of the two games will lock horns in the third-place match on Friday, while the glittering final will be held on Saturday.  

Badminton
After the high of Satwik and Chirag's pulsating performance in China Masters, badminton action will head home as the Syed Modi India International 2023 will kick off in Lucknow on Tuesday. The BWF World Tour Super 300 event will feature many major international players, though Satwik and Chirag's participation is uncertain following the gruelling China tourney. The keenly-followed tournament will end on Sunday.

Boxing
The senior men's National Boxing Championships started the past week in Guwahati and will see its third day of action on Monday, with the tournament concluding on Friday, December 1.
