Venezuela came back from a goal down to beat Ecuador 1-2 thanks to Eduard Bello and Jhonder Cadiz who scored in the 64th and 74th minute respectively.

ICC T20 World Cup: David Miller Reprimanded For Breaching Code Of Conduct

Explosive South African batter David Miller was reprimanded and handed one demerit point for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during a Super Eights Group 2 match of the T20 World Cup against England.

Miller was found to have breached Article 2.8 of the Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “showing dissent at an Umpire’s decision during an International Match.” (PTI)

India women restrict South Africa women in the 3rd ODI to 215/8.

SA Skipper Laura Wolvaardt made an assured fifty (61, 57b, 7x4) but her side sufferred a batting meltdown after a strong start to finish with an underwhelming 215. They seek a consolidation win after India have already taken the 2-0 unassailable lead in the series.

Spanish Grand Prix Update: Max Leads

Max Verstappen has taken the lead at the Spanish Grand Prix overtaking Lando Norris who is now at third behind Geoege Russell. Lewis Hamilton starting from P3, is currently driving the W15 in P4.

And for Fernando Alonso, the home race has not seen a good start yet. Starting in P10, the Spaniard has fallen to 14th!

Smriti Mandhana waltzed to a characteristically elegant 90 to form the crux of India's six-wicket win in the third and final women's ODI against South Africa, marking their 3-0 series clean sweep in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Mandhana, whose innings came off 83 balls (11x4), had efficient support casts in Shafali Verma (25), Priya Punia (28) and Harmanpreet Kaur (42, 48b, 2x4) as India went past the target of 216 without exerting themselves much. (PTI)

Liverpool Great Alan Hansen Released From Hospital

Former Liverpool and Scotland defender Alan Hansen has been released from hospital and will now continue his recovery at home.

A statement from his family on Sunday thanked fans for their support after Liverpool said two weeks ago that its former captain was “seriously ill in hospital.”

The family's statement said: “Alan has been discharged from hospital today to continue his recovery at home." according to AP reports.
