Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by four wickets in their Women's Premier League encounter. Chasing a modest 126-run target, Mumbai lost wickets early before all-rounder Amelia Kerr stepped. Her knock of 31 off 27 deliveries ensured Mumbai did not suffer any more hiccups and claimed a much-deserved victory. Earlier, a three-wicket haul by Amelia Kerr helped Mumbai Indians restrict Royal Challengers Bangalore to 125/9 in 20 overs. Asked to bat first, RCB lost wickets in a quick succession. Later, Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh smashed 29 runs each but departed after a brief innings. Apart from Kerr, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Issy Wong scalped two wickets each while Saika Ishaque took one.
