Chandra Bhattacharjee was born in 1960. He graduated from the Indian College of Art and Draughtsmanship in 1986. His latest solo shows were Santiniketan, The Hum of Unreasonable Silence, Art Alive Gallery, Delhi (February-March 2023) and Dissolving the Surface, Odisha State Museum, Bhubaneswar (March-April, 2023).
He has been a part of numerous workshops, art fairs, and curated group expositions. His latest group participations include the India Art Fair, Independence, from Despair to Dream, Akriti Art Gallery, Kolkata; Bengal Nama, Art Positive, Bikaner House; Hub India, Classical Radical, a tripartite museum show, Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti, Turin, Italy; Politics of Paper, Emami Art, Kolkata; Fluid Realities, Art Alive at Bikaner House, New Delhi.
Chandra Bhattacharjee is set to participate in the Bihar Museum Biennale 2023, showcasing his artistic prowess and creative vision.
