Renowned and acclaimed artist Paresh Maity was born in the historical town of Tamluk, close to Kolkata in 1965. During the last 35 years, he has held 88 solo exhibitions, and his work includes a diverse ensemble of landscapes, abstracts, portraits, and figures that has been widely exhibited in galleries, museums, and art fairs in India and across the globe.
The upcoming Delhi event will also become a museological space for an evening to look at everyday objects from Bihar from a not-so-distant past and their relationship with memory and culture and inclusive representation of various identities and crafts.
In a unique collaboration with Bihar Museum, the Outlook Group brings a series of panel discussions on museums, their roles, and their evolution as part of the Bihar Museum Biennale’s second edition.
