However, Ranbir Kapoor's film has already entered into the ranks of All-Time Blockbusters in 2023. This is the fifth movie of the year to achieve this rank after 'The Kerala Story', 'Gadar 2', 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'.
'Animal' also starred Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles. The film clashed with Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Sam Bahadur' directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film is struggling at the box office.
'Animal' will face tough competition with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' and Prabhas' 'Salaar' as the former is releasing on December 21 and the latter on December 22. The advance booking of 'Dunki' has surpassed 'Salaar'.
