'Baahubali' actor Sathyaraj's mother, Nathambal, breathed her last on Friday (August 11) evening. She was 94. Sathyaraj's mother was staying in Coimbatore.
Sathyaray was in Hyderabad for the shoot of his film. As soon as he heard the news of his mother's death, he immediately rushed to Coimbatore. The funeral will take place on August 12 in Coimbatore. Nathambal is survived by Sathyaraj, and two daughters, Kalpana and Rupa.
South celebs have offered condolences on social media over the death of Sathyaraj's mother. Kamal Haasan who shares a good bond with Sathyaraj, took to Twitter and wrote in Tamil, which is loosely translated, "Friend #Sathyaraj's mother, Ilaval @Sibi_Sathyaraj Their grandmother, Mrs. I, was deeply saddened to hear the news of Natambal Kalingarayar's demise. My deepest condolences to the bereaved mother and her family."
Sathyaraj is known for his works in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada and he has acted in 240 films. The actor rose to fame worldwide for his role as Kattappa in Prabhas' 'Baahubali' franchise.
