BTS, the South Korean boy band has taken the world by storm ever since their debut ten years ago. Despite being on a hiatus, BTS is making headlines as it got a special mention in Michael Jackson's documentary, 'Thriller 40.' The documentary of the legendary pop star was released on the 40th anniversary of the same-titled album and addresses the impact of the late artist's music on new and upcoming artists.
The clip of BTS’ special mention in 'Thriller 40' has gone viral and fans couldn’t contain themselves from celebrating this achievement and flooded social media with their proud reactions. In the viral clip, Michael Jackson’s choreography is being compared with BTS’ first-ever English song 'Dynamite.'
This segment of the documentary is captioned, “Every move they do is all Michael Jackson.”

Formed in 2010, BTS is a group of seven artists—RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. BIGHIT MUSIC announced that following their solo projects, they will be enlisting in the mandatory South Korean military service 2022 onwards. Jin, J-hope and Suga have already enlisted, with RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook enlisting sometime next week. The band will make a grand comeback in 2025.
'Michael Jackson: Thriller 40' has released in the United States on December 2 and will stream on Paramount+.
