Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki', which was released worldwide on December 21, entered the Rs 200 crore club on the 13th day of its release. On its second Tuesday, the film witnessed a huge drop in its collections compared to other days' collections of the second week. On Day 13, 'Dunki' earned only Rs 3.85 crore net in India as per early estimates, as reported by Sacnilk. So, the total collection of Rajkumar Hirani's directorial stands at Rs 200.62 crore in the domestic market.
The film collected Rs 160.22 crore in the first week. On the second Friday, it minted Rs 7 crore, Rs 9 crore on its second Saturday, Rs 11.5 crore on its second Sunday, and Rs 9.05 crore on its second Monday at the Indian box office. It had an overall 13.01% Hindi occupancy on Tuesday.

It has already crossed the Rs 400 crore barrier worldwide. 'Dunki' is Shah Rukh Khan's third consecutive hit in 2023 after the blockbusters 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'.
'Dunki' is a family entertainer and it has got mixed reviews from critics and audiences. In his review for Outlook India, Prateek Sur gave the film 2.5 stars. He wrote, '''Dunki’ isn’t Rajkumar Hirani’s best work. He has done way better films, which bumped up the expectations from this film. To add to that, this time he had Shah Rukh Khan for the first time. Yet, it didn’t live up to the hype.''
