'Dunki': Shaan Reveals Why His Duet With Shreya Ghoshal Wasn't A Part Of The Shah Rukh Khan-Starrer

Shaan cleared the air about the singer's duet 'Durr Kahi Durr' with Shreya Ghoshal not being a part of the newly released 'Dunki.'

On Thursday, singer-songwriter Shaan addressed on social media the removal of his duet with Shreya Ghoshal, 'Durr Kahi Durr,' from the film 'Dunki.' He revealed that the track was removed from the film during the final editing phase.

Shaan also revealed that he and Shreya Ghoshal recorded as well as shot the song in Kashmir. 

Despite expressing disappointment over the song's unfortunate exclusion from the final cut, Shaan mentioned that director Rajkumar Hirani was "very transparent" about it. 

Sharing the post on X, he wrote, "Good Morning !!! Aaj #Dunki Day hai im super excited!! CAN’T WAIT TO SEE IT !! I’m sure Everyone is Going to love the Movie !!! I just want to clear the air about why my song was not part of the film....."

Many fans also commented, expressing their desire to see their collaboration come to light. Some also expressed their wish to see Shaan collaborate with musician Pritam on another track in the future. To this, Shaan tweeted saying, "It was a pleasure to work with @ipritamofficial da ... I always look forward to it."

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Dunki' features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, supported by Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, and Jyoti Subash in pivotal roles.
