Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are set to recreate the magic on screens with 'Gadar 2' on August 11. They are reprising their roles of Tara Singh and Sakina in the sequel. A new addition to the family of 'Gadar 2' is gorgeous Simratt Kaur Randhawa who is making her Hindi film debut with the film. Simratt has worked in the South film industry and she is very excited to be part of such an iconic franchise.

We recently had a conversation with Simratt where she spoke about her character, people trolling her for getting cast in the film and a lot more.

Simratt while expressing her excitement about 'Gadar 2' told Outlook, ''You dream of something and your dream comes true, you feel really happy and excited. The other thing is you have never dreamt of something and then suddenly it happens. So, this has never happened to me and I have never dreamt of doing a movie like 'Gadar 2' and that too lead in it. So, I am excited and very emotional right now. I am also nervous because I am an outsider and I don't know how people will take me. There are mixed emotions right now.''

We don't get to see much of her character in the trailer of the film. Her role is still kept under wraps by the makers. On this, the diva said, ''People have already started assuming about my character just with that one glimpse of me in the trailer. All I want to say is that my character's name is Muskaan and she's a really important character in the movie. It will be worth waiting for it.''

For the unversed, last month a section of netizens trolled Simratt for her kissing and hot scenes in the film 'Dirty Hari'. 'Gadar 2' director was also slammed for casting her in the film. Later, Ameesha Patel defended her on social media.

When Simratt was asked about it, she said, ''I don't think it's a bigger controversy and news than me doing 'Gadar 2'. I think me doing the movie is way bigger news than all this and I think when you grow and when you are in the industry, it will keep happening. It's a lifelong process. Maybe in the next movie, someone else will come and do it. So, I think it's just part of life but my main focus is that I am doing 'Gadar 2' and I am sure when the movie is out people will have a better view of me and they will see me in the new look.''

She also said that it doesn't affect her at all as she has struggled a lot. ''For me, the struggles have been for more than six-seven years. Being an outsider I never had any kind of contact. I have struggled every day, I have given multiple auditions. This process has really made me strong mentally and physically. All I believe is if my hard work is worth I will get what I want. I don't care about the negativity around me because I am full of positivity,'' added Simratt.
