Actor Imran Khan who is the nephew of Aamir Khan has been missing from acting since 2015. He was the child artiste in Mansoor Khan's films 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' and 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar'. Imran made his debut as a lead actor in Abbas Tyrewala's 2008 romantic comedy 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' co-starring Genelia D'Souza. The movie made him an overnight star and he gained lots of fans, especially female fans. His last film was 'Katti Batti' with Kangana Ranaut. In 2015 he went on a sabbatical.
Now, he has hinted that he might return to acting. A fan commented on veteran actor Zeenat Aman's Instagram post on her new commercial for a brand, “Zeenat ji ne bhi comeback karlia, patani mera @imrankhan kab karega.” To which Imran responded saying, “Chalo Aditi, let's leave this to the internet… 1M likes, and I'll make it happen (shake hands emoji).” This comment of the actor has taken then internet by storm. Fans have started commenting and they want him to make a comeback soon.
Imran later even re-shared Zeenat Aman's post on his Instagram story and revealed that he is taking notes from the veteran actress on how to make a comeback.
Talking about Imran Khan's filmography, he starred in films 'I Hate Luv Storys' opposite Sonam Kapoor, 'Break Ke Baad' with Deepika Padukone, 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' with Katrina Kaif, 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' co-starring Kareena Kapoor, 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola' with Anushka Sharma, and 'Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!' opposite Sonakshi Sinha.
In 2018, he made a comeback but as a director for 'Mission Mars: Keep Walking India'.
