'KGF' actor Yash has no dearth of fans all across the country. Fans can go to any extent for the love of their favourite star. Recently, a tragic incident occurred when Yash's fans tried to install a 25-foot cut-out of the actor in the Ambedkar Nagar area for his birthday. His birthday was on January 8. Three of his fans were electrocuted while putting up the poster of the Rocking Star.
On Tuesday, the Kannada superstar spoke to reporters in Hubballi and said that he would visit the kin of his deceased fans in the Gadag district.
Speaking to the media, he said, "If you wish me wholeheartedly, from wherever you are, that is the best gesture for me. Tragic incidents like these make me fear my own birthday. This is not how you show fandom."
Reportedly, on Monday, fans tried to put up the poster at the Ambedkar Nagar area of Surangi village in Lakshmeshwar taluk of the district in the middle of the night. The poster hit a live electric wire and the youth holding the poster was electrocuted and all three men were dead on the spot.
After the incident, police told news agency ANI, “Three youths were electrocuted in Karnataka's Gadag district on Sunday night after a huge flex of actor Yash, which they were installing to wish his birthday, came into contact with the electric wire''.
As per the agency, the deceased fans have been identified as Hanamanta Harijan, 21-year-old, Murali Nadavinamani, 20-year-old and Naveen Ghazi, 19. Three others are reportedly injured in the incident and are currently receiving treatment at the Lakshmeshwar Hospital.
On the work front, Yash will be seen in 'Toxic', which is his 19th film. The first look and the title were announced last year in December. The Sandalwood star will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. Reportedly, makers are in talks with Kareena Kapoor Khan to sign her as the leading lady in the film.
