JD Majethia’s father, Nagardasbhai Majethia, breathed his last on December 25. The actor and producer shared a picture with his father and wrote an emotional note. It has been reported that the actor’s father passed away due to age-related ailments.

JD Majethia shared a happy picture of him and his father. The actor had his hands on his father’s shoulder, and they were seen smiling. He wrote, “Rest in utmost peace my most loved man and be like this eternity. My most loved man, my dad Nagardas Majithia left us for heavenly abode on 25/12/23.” The funeral ceremonies took place on the evening of December 25 at the Dahanukar Wadi Crematorium in Kandivali (West), Mumbai.

Zoom reported that the prayer meeting is scheduled to be held on December 27 in Mumbai. Nagardasbhai Majethia passed away at the age of 96.

JD Majethia is best known for his role as Himanshu Parekh in the hit comedy television show, ‘Khichdi.’ The actor debuted in ‘Chanakya’ where he played the role of ‘Malayketu.’ He is remembered for his roles in iconic television shows like ‘Baa Bahoo Aur Baby’, ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai Take 2’, and ‘Karishma Kaa Karishma’. Apart from television, he is well known for his performance in Gujarati theatre.

His production company, Hats Off Production, has produced shows like ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, ‘Ek Packet Umeed’, ‘Mrs. Tendulkar’, and ‘Bhakharwadi’ to name a few. He is married to Nipa Majethia and has two daughters – Kesar and Mishri.
