Nivin Pauly has announced his upcoming Malayalam movie. Directed by Dijo Jose Anthony, the new film is called ‘Malayalee From India.’ The actor took to his social media to share the official promo video of the film.
Nivin Pauly took to his X (formerly, Twitter) account to share the news. He shared the video and wished his fans a Merry Christmas. The actor wrote, “Here we present you “MALAYALEE FROM INDIA” Merry Xmas to all.” The 6:56 minute-long promo video shows a fun interaction between Nivin Pauly and Dijo Thomas at the gym.
It shows Dijo Thomas narrating the story of ‘Malayalee From India’ to Nivin Pauly at a gym. As the director narrates the story, the actor starts imagining the scenes from the film. While Nivin shares the plot and storyline, the video shows some actual shots from the movie. The video has some cheeky jokes. Dijo mentions that he wanted to make a “local film” which is why he reached out to Nivin.

The teaser promises that the film will have a perfect blend of comedy, romance, and drama. It introduces us to Nivin’s character - Aalparambil Gopi. Ever since the video was released, fans have been commenting on how this movie can mark Nivin’s comeback with a powerful performance.
‘Malayalee From India’ also stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Anaswara Rajan, Manju Pillai, Salim Kumar, Shine Tom Chacko, and Vijaykumar in pivotal roles. The film has been written by Sharis Mohammed and it is produced by Listin Stephen. The background music has been given by Jakes Bejoy. The film is set to release next year.
