After much wait, the teaser of 'OMG 2' has been finally unveiled. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles. The teaser starts with a voiceover of Pankaj Tripathi who is a firm believer of God. The movie is a sequel to the 2012 hit satirical film 'OMG- Oh My God!' that starred Paresh Rawal who was an atheist. But 'OMG 2' has a different take as Pankaj’s character Kanti Sharan Mudgal is totally opposite to Paresh Rawal's character. The former believes in the existence of God and he is a devotee of Lord Shiva.
Akshay Kumar channels his inner Lord Shiva as he is seen in a shirtless avatar, sporting long dreadlocks and ash smeared on his forehead. It seems Tripathi's character is in some problem and Akshay comes to rescue his devotee. For the unversed, in the original, the actor had essayed the character of Lord Krishna.
Sharing 'OMG 2' teaser on his Instagram handle, Akshay wrote, "रख विश्वास 🙏#OMG2Teaser out now.#OMG2 in theatres on August 11."
Yami Gautam plays a lawyer in the film but we don't see her in the teaser. Written and directed by Amit Rai, the movie also stars Arun Govil. The film is produced by Cape of Good Films, Ashwin Varde, Vipul D Shah and Rajesh Bahl. It is all set to hit the screens on August 11.
