Filmmaker Karan Johar released the trailer of his film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, and talked about his comeback directorial on Instagram live video as well to amp up the excitement for the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer. While talking about the film, he even lashed out at the trolls who were abusing him during the live chat.
Karan, who was reading the comments of his fans, stopped in between when he read an unpleasant comment related to his family. He replied to the concerned person, “Kuch toh soch samajh ke comments kiya karo na yaar, tumhaare ghar mein bhi family hoti hai (Please think before you comment. You also have a family at home).”
The filmmaker didn’t stop at that, and said, “It’s fine A******, you have to deal with your own demons.” He also shared that he is being repeatedly abused by one of the Instagram account users, ” I love how there is an account who just abuses me in one word and then just vanishes.”
Karan Johar even last year quit the microblogging site Twitter to “make space for more positive energies only”.
During the seventh season of ‘Koffee With Karan’, the filmmaker talked about coming to terms with the social media hate, and said that he faced anxiety issues a few years ago. He mentioned how he soon realised it would lead to a mental health situation.
Meanwhile, the trailer of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ is being received well by the audience. Also starring Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi, the film will hit the theaters on July 28.
