Actor-producer Prithviraj Sukumaran is ending this year with a blockbuster hit -- ‘Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire,’ alongside Prabhas. Recently, the actor shared a clip from an interview which features Prashanth Neel, director of 'Salaar,' expressing a strong connection to his words in the interview.
In the conversation, the ‘Salaar’ director is heard saying, “I have been a bad father, bad son, bad husband, bad brother, bad sister and a horrible friend. Everything I have sacrificed for cinema and what I want to get out of cinema.”
Reposting the video on Instagram, Prithviraj Sukumaran captioned it, “I thought I was good with words, but I don’t know how to caption this. Just sort of hit home. If you know what I mean!” He tagged his wife, producer Supriya Menon in the caption too.
His wife's witty comment took the Internet by storm. It said, “Putting this up is not going to mean you are going to have it easy when you come back home in 2 days!”
The couple’s online banter has grabbed the attention of the audiences, with many even relating their situations. Many users replied to her comment with multiple laughter emoticons. One user even said, "universal wife reaction." Another one said, "engineers, doctors or actors or directors. At home, all stories seem to align."
The post also reached filmmaker-screenwriter Midhun Manuel Thomas and he commented, “I was about to show this one to my wife, then I read your reply!”
Meanwhile, Supriya Menon has also shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from the film’s set on her Instagram handle.
Released on December 22, ‘Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire’ is now in theatres near you.
