The first look of Thalapathy 68 was unveiled by the makers on Sunday, on New Year's Eve. In the poster, Vijay can be seen in a double role. The title was also revealed along with the poster. Thalapathy 68 is now titled 'The Greatest of All Time'.
The poster shows Thalapathy Vijay's character's younger version sharing a fist bump with the elder character. They are seen wearing a uniform. A fighter plane is there above in the poster and a parachute is seen lying behind. The poster comes with a tagline, “Light can devour the darkness but darkness cannot consume the light.”
Producer Archana Kalpathi shared the poster and wrote, ''Our Thalapathy is the Greatest Of All Time''.
'The Greatest of All Time' is directed by Venkat Prabhu and it marks his first collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay. The film also stars Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Mic Mohan, Prashanth, Jayaram, Meenakshii Chaudhary, and Yogi Babu among others.
The film is said to be based on time travel, where Vijay is seen in a double role in it. In one role, he is playing a 19-year-old.
Last year in September, the 'Master' actor went to Los Angeles to get a 3D scan of his body for the film. The shooting of 'The Greatest Of All Time' started in October 2023.
Vijay was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj's actioned 'Leo'. It was a blockbuster at the box office as it collected over Rs 300 crore at the domestic market. The film also starred Trisha Krishnan and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.
