As per a report in Sacnilk, it has made a whopping collection of Rs 44.50 crore in India.
It is said to be the biggest Bollywood opening on Diwali ever. Reportedly, the film was made on an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore, the most expensive project of Yash Raj Films.
According to Sacnilk's early trade estimates, 'Tiger 3' earned Rs 44.50 crore on its opening day in India, across all languages. It witnessed a 41.32 per cent occupancy in the Hindi screenings. Mumbai saw the highest footfalls, while Delhi NCR, Pune and Bengaluru occupied the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots. As per reports, the film was released on 5,500 screens in India and 3,400 screens overseas.
'Tiger 3's Day 1 collection makes it the third-biggest Salman Khan-opener after his 2019 film 'Bharat' directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, which earned Rs 42.30 crore.
Salman and Katrina have reprised their roles of Avinash and Zoya, respectively. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film also has Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir (from War) have special cameo appearances. 'Tiger 3' is produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films.
