'Tiger 3' Box Office Day 2: Salman Khan Starrer Crosses Rs 100 Crore Mark In Just Two Days

Salman Khan starrer 'Tiger 3' has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club on the second day of its release. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the spy thriller also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.

It's time for celebrations for Salman Khan and Yash Raj Films! Salman Khan's latest offering 'Tiger 3' that released on Diwali, November 12, has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in just two days of its release. Yes, you read it right. On its second day itself, the film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office. 

As per a report in Sacnilk, on Monday, it earned Rs 57.52 crore. On Sunday, it had collected Rs 44.5 crore. So, the total collection stands at Rs 102 crore. The second-day collection is higher than the second-day collection of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan'. Salman starrer had an overall 48.62% Hindi occupancy, 26.43% Telugu and 29.91% in Tamil on Monday.

'Jawan' released on a Thursday and it collected Rs 74.5 crore on Day 1 and on Day 2, it minted Rs 53 crore. It was the biggest blockbuster of the year. 

Talking about the global box office collection of 'Tiger 3', it made Rs 94 crore on Day 1. YRF shared the figures of both domestic and international markets on social media. ''History created on Diwali day! Love pouring in from all across the globe ❤️,'' read the caption. 

'Tiger 3' is a sequel to the 2017 film 'Tiger Zinda Hai' helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The first part was titled 'Ek Tha Tiger' directed by Kabir Khan. The third instalment is directed by Maneesh Sharma. It also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have made special cameo appearances.
