Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan got embroiled into legal trouble in 2021 in the Cordelia drugs case, and it certainly became the talk of the town. The star kid was booked for alleged possession, consumption, and buying and selling of drugs. However, Aryan was later given a clean chit by NCB’s special investigation team (SIT).
Meanwhile, former zonal director of NBC Sameer Wankhede among others were booked under IPC for charges of conspiracy and extortion threats. However, Wankhede has now reportedly won the bribery case as The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) is said to have mentioned in its order that Gyaneshwar Singh was not a part of special enquiry team (SET) procedure by Wankhede. Not to miss, he was reportedly the one who instructed Wankhede in the Cordelia drug case involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.
Meanwhile, Wankhede was reportedly charged with attempting to extort Rs 25 crore from Shah Rukh Khan in exchange for securing Aryan Khan's release in the drug case.
It is believed that Wankhede had relied on the WhatsApp chats between him and Singh, and the former even claimed that it was Singh who prepared the plan of action in respect of the investigation of the crime case.
