Bollywood star Bobby Deol is currently basking in the success of his latest film 'Animal.' Now, in a recent interview with Film Companion, he talked about his sons Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol, wanting to to mark their film debut and the actor revealed that he only has one request for his sons before they debut: to be fluent in Hindi.

Bobby said, “That’s the most important thing for an actor. I meet young kids and I keep telling them that you have to really be prepared. Like my sons, they want to be actors, and I keep telling them ki first apni Hindi theek karo. Hindi theek se nahi bolte kyuki aadat nahi hai na. Sab angrezi bolte hain ek doosre se (They are not used to speaking in Hindi, they all talk to each other in English). I think, once you have command over your lines, you don’t have to think of anything. You just have to feel the character.”

In an earlier inteview with India Today, the Bollywood star had confirmed that his sons would eventually be stepping foot in the industry. He told India Today, “There’s no business like show business and my sons will come into this industry, but they’re too young right now, especially my older one is just 22 years old and the younger one is 19 years, so another 3-4 years time, they will enter the industry.”

On another episode with Siddharth Kannan, the 'Animal' star admitted that he is extremely protective of his younger son, Dharam. “I am the youngest (in the family). I have never been able to face the world in my life easily. It has always been difficult because I am too emotional. So, I don’t want him to be that way. I just want him to be strong,” he said.

On his professional front, Bobby is enjoying a soaring career following the success of 'Animal.' Portraying an antagonist alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri, the movie stands as one of the top earners of 2023. On the success of the film, Bobby told paparazzi, “Guys thank you so much. God has been very kind. Itna pyaar mila iss film ke liye. Aisa lag raha hai main sapna dekh raha hoon. (The film is receiving a lot of love... It feels like I am dreaming).”
