BTS’ Jung Kook and Jimin, who enrolled in the mandatory South Korean military service on December 12, have successfully finished their basic training at the 5th Division Recruit Training Center, and will now be starting their active military duty.
Fresh photos of the two at their graduation ceremony have surfaced.
But what excited fans more is receiving an update from Jung Kook post his ceremony, who took to Weverse to write one word, translated to "Unity." This is his first communication with ARMYs post enlistment.
On the other hand, Jimin's dad took to his cafe's social media handle to give an important update on his son's big moment.
Jimin, who graduated alongside Jung Kook, also penned a handwritten note on Weverse. It reads, "To Army, are you doing well and in good health? Tomorrow is the day I graduate from the training camp. A little over a month has passed and there are times when it feels like a long time, but with Jung Kook next to me there are times when it seems to go by quickly. It hasn't been a long time, but I already miss you so very much. I am speaking with the members using the public phone. Jung Kook is also working hard in the military. He is doing well in training and the kids say 'as expected, Jungkookie hyung'. As we stick together, it gives a lot of support and strength. I'll be going to my assigned military base soon, and I'll adapt well and be doing well. Our ARMYs, please be careful to not catch a cold, and don't get sick, eat well and think only good thoughts. Anyway once I go to the base, I will write a letter then too. I love you."
Unidentified accounts have shared numerous photos of the BTS vocalists at their ceremony
Moreover, these sources dismissed any notions that the photos could have been altered.
Currently, all the members of BTS are serving in the military, with an aim to make a comeback in 2025.
