Cyrus Broacha, who was part of reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’, has now made an exit owing to a family emergency. Salman Khan, the host, revealed about Cyrus’ exit from the show on Sunday night. While it was earlier thought to be a temporary exit, but as per the announcement made by Bigg Boss, it is an end of Cyrus’ journey in the reality show.
JioCinema, the platform on which ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ airs, shared a statement regarding the medical emergency in Cyrus’ family. The statement read, “We regret to inform you that Cyrus Broacha had to take an emergency exit from Bigg Boss OTT 2 due to a sudden medical emergency in the family. As per Cyrus and his family’s request, we request you to allow privacy and understanding during this difficult period. Further details regarding the show will be shared in due course.”
For those who missed Monday's episode, Bigg Boss called Cyrus Broacha to the confession room and revealed that his family has sought his exit owing to an emergency at home. He was asked to leave the house immediately. Later, the Bigg Boss informed housemates about his exit, and they could not even bid him goodbye. Most of them were left saddened.
Not just due to family emergency, Cyrus had earlier expressed his desire to leave the show on the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode with Salman Khan. He had mentioned how he is not getting any sleep and with a scarcity of food in the house, he is affected. Salman tried to calm him down, and got his friend Kunal Vijaykar to join him on stage for him to stay.
Salman then reminded him how he would have to pay a penalty if he leaves the show voluntarily, and would regret his decision of leaving the house.
