One of the most-loved couple in the film industry is Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The two met on the sets of 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela' in 2012. After years of dating, they tied the knot in November 2018. Now, in an interview, Deepika has revealed their plans of becoming parents.
In an interview with Vogue Singapore, the 'Jawan' actress delved into many things, talking about how Indian film personalities have gone abroad to represent the country, becoming the face of luxury brands, all while still being true to their roots. She said it all proudly, after having achieved it all on her own. She then went on to talking about her choice of films and how she plays roles that can come off as a way for her to communicate with audiences.
“When I meet the people I have grown up with, they always mention how I haven't changed one bit. That says a lot about our upbringing. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children,” Deepika said.
After having made this statement, the interviewer questioned the actress' plans of becoming a mother. Deepika is open arms to embracing motherhood. Smiling, she replied, "Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.”
On the work front, the two superstars have given only hits last year. While Deepika had 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan', Ranveer saw the success of 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.' The two also graced the couch on 'Koffee With Karan 8' for the first time, and that episode brewed some controversy. The two will, now, be seen sharing screen space in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again.'
