On Tuesday, on the last day of Durga Puja, Rani Mukerji danced to dhol beats and bells at the North Bombay Durga Puja. She also played with sindoor with other women. Actresses Rupali Ganguly, Sumona Chakravarti, Tanushree Dutta and other celebs also took part in the Sindoor Khela.
Rani decked up in a beige and golden silk saree that she draped in Bangla style and wore the traditional shakha pola (red and white bangles). Her face was smeared with sindoor as she took part in the festivities. Rupali, Sumona and Tanushree wore white and red sarees for the Sindoor Khela celebrations.
A video of Rani and Rupali Ganguly dancing together during Sindoor Khela has been shared by a paparazzo on Instagram. They danced to the dhol beats and bells and shared a long hug.
Also, a video of Rani and her sister-in-law Jyoti Mukerji playing Sindoor Khela has gone viral. Jyoti is seen applying sindoor on Rani's forehead, head and bangles before hugging her. Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant is also seen in the video.
On the work front, Rani Mukerji was last seen in 'Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway'. Rani had given some stellar performances in films like 'Saathiya', 'Hum Tum', 'Black', 'Hichki' and 'Mardaani' among others.
