Actor Gautam Rode who is best known for his work in projects like 'State of Siege: Temple Attack', 'Aksar 2', 'Saraswatichandra', and 'Suryapura Karn' is all set to essay the character of a government school teacher in web series 'Classfull', which also stars an ensemble cast of Rohitashv Gour, Pavni Mehrotra and Hari Dubey.

Directed by Shubham Sinha and written and produced by Kundan Kumar Thakur under the banner of KunRa Cinema, the five-episode series will chronicle the story of a passionate and dedicated young teacher who left his bank job to teach in a rural area.

Sharing about what prompted him to take up the role, Gautam said, "Essentially, the script is superb, and Kundan's writing is masterful. I was particularly impressed by the fluidity of the characters and their arcs. The script delivers a powerful message with a subtle blend of entertainment and humour, which is what drew me to it in the first place."

He also gave insights about his character as he said, "The character I'm essaying is an unassuming and selfless man. He's a teacher, inspired by his own childhood teacher. Although there are many professions to choose from, teaching is the one that prepares us for all of them. He left his well-paying job as a bank manager to teach children in rural areas. This noble act by him is what I admire most. He's a middle-class person who is passionate about teaching and helping his students become something in life."

He further mentioned, "I am thrilled to be shooting for this show. I haven't read such a well-written script in a long time. The characters are complex and engaging, and the story offers a unique blend of entertainment, humour, and social commentary. I am confident that we can do justice to this material and create something truly special."
