Anupamaa’ actor Het Thakkar is delighted to join the cast of the upcoming web series titled 'Grey Wars', which stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Lara Dutta, and Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles.

He shares, “I'm excited to join the cast of ‘Grey Wars’ and I'm excited to meet the star cast Jimmy sir, Lara ma'am, Ashutosh sir among everyone. I'm a huge fan of Lara Ma'am and the show has given me an opportunity to share screen space with so many stars altogether. At the moment I can't reveal much about my role but it's very interesting and challenging. My audience is going to love my part in the series.”

Het Thakkar also revealed that he enjoys acting in web series more than television. “As an audience, I watch more OTT shows and can easily connect to the storyline. When I look over it as an actor it helps me to connect and live my role a lot more than television. While working on TV it does make you feel scripted but OTT gives you a real experience. I respect all the mediums but personally, I enjoy OTT a lot. I'm open to TV roles but I wish to play a lead role now. And as I'm also studying hence OTT and movies take less time but TV makes you more committed.”

Het has acted in TV shows like ‘Ishqbaaaz’, the movie ‘Gumraah’ and also web series like ‘Crime Aaj Kal’ and ‘Dr. Arora’. He continued to add that his friends enjoy watching him playing negative roles.

“I have played a grey-shaded role on TV screens and I was wondering how will it come across my friends. But they appreciated my act and I feel they give me genuine feedback and that helps me to perform my best. I’m open to exploring different shades as I want to grow into a talented actor and playing the same roles again and again won't help me nor they are excited to act for me. I don't enjoy repeating myself. And with my upcoming series, the audience will see me in a fresh role, I'm really excited.”
