Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth have embraced parenthood as they welcomed their first child, a baby boy on Wednesday (June 19). Reportedly, Ishita is currently in the hospital and will be discharged on Friday, 21 July.
ETimes quoted a source saying that both the mother and the baby are healthy and the "family is happiest right now".
Vatsal and Ishita announced the pregnancy on March 31. They had been sharing pictures from their pregnancy photo shoot on social media. In May, they shifted to their new abode. Before moving to their new house, Ishita also had a traditional god bharai (baby shower) ceremony. She had been sharing glimpses of her baby bump more often on Instagram.
Ishita and Vatsal got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in November 2017 after dating each other for a few years. They hosted a lavish wedding reception for their friends and family in Mumbai.
On the work front, Ishita was last seen in 2022 Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer 'Drishyam 2' where she played the on-screen daughter of Ajay and Shriya Saran. While Vatsal Sheth recently finished shooting for his Gujarati debut film which is a comedy-drama. It also stars Helly Shah.
