Superstar Kamal Haasan, who was last seen on the big screen in the 2022-released blockbuster 'Vikram. The legend', is also active in the television industry as the highly famous reality show, Bigg Boss Tamil. But now, the latest reports suggest that he is planning to quit the show.

According to Pinkvilla, Kamal Haasan is now planning to bid goodbye to Bigg Boss Tamil, with the ongoing sixth season of the famous show. The star host is expected to officially announce his decision, after the grand finale of Bigg Boss Tamil which will is slated to be held in January 2023.  According to the publication, the reports published by Indiaglitz suggest that Kamal Haasan is not interested in continuing with the show, despite the makers offering him a massive paycheck for its seventh season.

The reason behind his decision is said to be the monotony the legendary actor is feeling as a host. The low TRP of the latest season has also highly disappointed Kamal Haasan. So, the Ulaganayan is planning to dedicate his time to his acting career and wants to concentrate on his upcoming projects. 

Kamal Haasan is currently busy with the shooting of Indian 2, the highly anticipated sequel to his 1996-released blockbuster Indian. He is playing a double role in the S Shankar directorial, as freedom fighter Senapathi, and his father. The highly anticipated teaser of Indian 2 is expected to be released on the occasion of the New Year. The actor-director duo is expected to wrap up the project by March 2023.

Kamal Haasan will team up with the veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam, for his 234th outing in the industry. The movie, which has been tentatively titled KH 234, is expected to go on floors by the second half of 2023. Later, he will reunite with Lokesh Kanagaraj for Vikram 2. The actor is also expected to team up with young filmmakers H Vinoth and Mahesh Narayanan for his upcoming films.
