Ever since '12th Fail' released, Vikrant Massey's acting has encapsulated all. He is being praised for his performance from all spheres. The latest person, who was touched by the movie, was actress Kangana Ranaut.
She took to her Instagram to praise the actor for his versatility and even went as far as comparing him to the late actor Irrfan Khan. She also commended the director Vidhu Vinod Chopra for his "must watch" project.
Sharing a poster of the movie, Kangana wrote, “What a terrific film. Coming from Hindi medium myself belonging to a rural village and being a general caste student for entry tests without reservations in my school years, I was weeping through out the film, ufff never cried so much in a flight, my co-passengers were stealing concerned glances at me, I am embarrassed."
In her next story, she praised the director for his work. She added, "Vidhu sir has won my heart all over again, Vikrant Massey is beyond amazing!! In his coming years he might just fill the void Irfan Khan saab left behind...salutations to your talent dear one." She even commented, "Don't miss it on Disney+ Hotstar," urging her followers to watch the film.
Helmed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the narrative of '12th Fail' is based on a real-life experience of a UPSC aspirant IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma. It sheds lights on the struggles of thousands of students, who give this entrance exam.
Why Kangana commenting on Vikrant Massey is one of the twisted, unexpected things to happen. Back in 2021, when fellow Himachali actress Yami Gautam posted her wedding photos on social media, Kangana took to the actress' comment section to call out Vikrant for his remark.
For her all-red bridal look, Vikrant playfully teased her and commented, “Pure and pious like Radhe Maa.” Offended, Kangana wrote back, "Kahan se nikla ye cockroach. Laao meri chappal (Where did this cockroach come from, bring my slippers).” When asked by Bollywood Bubble about his further comment on this, Vikrant said, “I really don’t pay attention to all these things. I try to very consciously negate toxicity in my life."
