Rivalry among stars is not a new thing. Back in the early 2000s, two leading ladies of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra were rumoured to have a feud. They worked together in the 2004 film 'Aitraaz' with Akshay Kumar. Reportedly, they had a cold war between them. In fact, in the early 2000s, there were rumours of a ‘catfight’ between them in Antwerp while they were travelling for a concert.

Now, Kareena in an interview has addressed the 'infamous catfight'. When asked if it was true, the actress said that it was all rubbish.

In an interview with Mid Day, Bebo was asked about actresses being pitted against one another and the catfights that were reported back in the ‘90s and early 2000s. To which she said, “Oh God! The ’90s were full of it, the ’90s started, and in 2000, everyone was having a catfight. Kuch bhi bol do and catfight. (Say anything, and it is reported as a catfight).” She also said that nowadays such things aren’t heard much and things are much more chilled out now.

Kareena was also asked if the rumours of the catfight between her and Priyanka Chopra in Antwerp were true. The 'Jaane Jaan' actress replied, “No, no, no, all rubbish. I was like, what is going on? But I think maybe we all had that energy- you know, some sort of thing where we were all wanting to just prove ourselves."

Asked if it was about competing fiercely, she said she wanted ‘to be the best’. “But I don’t think that attitude lasted, and you kind of learn through that,” added Kareena.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently made her OTT debut with Netflix's 'Jaane Jaan' with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. She will be next seen in Hansal Mehta's thriller, 'The Buckingham Murders', and 'The Crew' with Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh.

While Priyanka Chopra has 'The Heads Of State' with John Cena and Idris Elba.
