Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently in the news for the reports of being part of Yash starrer 'Toxic'. Amidst the reports, her team has issued a statement requesting the media to refrain from 'premature conjecture' about her next project. They also wrote that something exciting is coming up and asked everyone to wait for the next announcement of her film.
The statement by Kareena's team read: ''There have been many speculations doing the rounds about Kareena Kapoor Khan’s next film. While we understand the excitement and anticipation, we request that the media refrain from premature conjecture about her next project and its star cast. Something very exciting is coming up very soon, and we request everyone to wait for the official announcement. Team Kareena Kapoor Khan."
Since the past few days, there have been reports doing the rounds that Kareena will make her Kannada debut with 'Toxic'. It is reported that she will star as the female lead in Yash's 19th film.
Last year, taking to his Instagram handle, Yash announced the title of his film with his first look."'What you seek is seeking you' - Rumi A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups #TOXIC,'' read the caption.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, 'Toxic' is all set to hit the theatres on April 10, 2025.
Talking about Kareena, she was last seen in 'Jaane Jaan'. The actress will be next seen in 'The Crew' alongside Kriti Sanon, Tabu and Diljit Dosanjh. She also has Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again', co-starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff.
Kareena also starred in Hansal Mehta's 'The Buckingham Murders' which will soon be released on Netflix.
