Ketaki Kulkarni is making her Bollywood debut essaying the antagonist in ‘1920: Horrors Of The Heart’ which stars Avika Gor in the lead role. The actress says she found a mentor in film director Mahesh Bhatt.

Sharing about this says the 'Barrister Babu' actress, “I'm delighted to make my Bollywood debut with a negative role. I'm playing a ghost in the movie and my audience will see me entertaining them with a fresh character which I'm not allowed to talk about. It is a big opportunity for me to get this role.”

She reveals the long hours she invested to get into the character and later come out from it. “I remember it took around 3 hours to get myself into the character and later to remove all that makeup as again the same long process but the experience was fun and I made many lifetime memories.”

The ‘Vighnaharta Ganesh’ actor talks about finding a mentor in Mahesh Bhatt.

“I'm thankful to Bhatt Saheb to help me play such a wonderful role at such a young age. He is very humble and kind. On the day of our first meeting, I got the vibe of him being the best. I'm blessed to find a mentor in the film industry,” she said.

Talking about her experience with Vikram Bhatt. She shared, “Vikram sir made shooting very easy for me. He used to explain the situation before shooting the scenes. He use to help me live that moment in reality, the way I have to act during the shoot. He allowed me to enjoy freedom while delivering my dialogues. During the shoot, he was only the source of my encouragement. He appreciated me the most.”
