‘Kaafir’ (Zee5)
Set in the turbulent regions of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, Kaafir follows Kainaaz Akhtar, a woman who somehow ends up on the Indian side of the Line-of-Control. She has now been held prisoner as she is suspected of being a militant but will she be able to prove her innocence? Kaafir features a talented cast starring Dia Mirza, Mohit Raina and Dishita Jain in pivotal roles.
‘Natkhat’ (Voot Select)
With the storytelling format, Shaan Vyas tries to do away with hackneyed, preachy dialogues. Reiterating the age-old saying that learning begins at home, Natkhat points out that stories remain etched in impressionable young minds. They have the power to reform. The film is also an attempt to sensitise someone by bringing the violence closer to home. Time and again, Vidya's bruises make Sonu feel a stinging pain that he was oblivious to while inflicting the same on other girls.
‘Freddy’ (Disney+ Hotstar)
The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh. It is a suspense thriller film. The lead role is being played by modern-day star Kartik Aryan. If you like to watch stories full of twists and turns, then you are going to love this romantic thriller. The film will be released on Disney Hotstar’s platform on December 2. Filled with unusual twists, turns and chaos of emotions, Freddy will keep the audiences at the edge of their seats.
'Darlings' (Netflix)
Starring Alia Bhatt as a lead actress in the latest Netflix Original film – Darlings in which the story revolves about a girl living in a lower middle-class Muslim-dominated neighbourhood in Mumbai. Darlings has both laugh-out-loud comedy and suppressed giggles. Reen's control over the lengthier sequences, backed by Anil Mehta's sinuous camerawork and Nitin Baid's elegant editing, is strongest when Hamza drops the mask and lets the misogyny show".
‘Flames’ (Mx Player)
From the studio of TVF Play, Flames is yet another relatable content for a 90s kid that will take you on a trip down memory lane. The story follows class topper Rajat who falls in love with the new girl. With many references to memories of our high school days, Flames taps into those emotions and makes for a great watch today. Flames stars Ritvik Sahore and Tanya Maniktala in lead.
